Elmira, NY- The Elmira Pioneers are proud to announce that Historic Dunn Field will host the league’s brightest stars for the 2014 PGCBL All-Star Game and festivities. Fans will have the opportunity to see some of the nation’s top collegiate talent hit the field on Tuesday, July 15th at 7:05 p.m. The 2014 PGCBL All-Star Game will be presented by Corning Inc., CSEA, Hilliard and Multi Media Services.

This year’s all-star event will feature a fun filled day for both players and fans with scouting day activities to kick off the afternoon. Gates will open for fans at 4:00 p.m. as scouts from MLB teams evaluate the talent level of the PGCBL’s top players. The scout drills will be followed by a home-run derby that will crown a champion of the long-ball. Fans entering historic Dunn Field will receive free thunderstixs courtesy of Hilliard and will also have the opportunity to receive player autographs. At the conclusion of the All-Star game fans are encouraged to stick around for a huge postgame firework show.
