Newark’s own Colburn Park presents the inaugural year of the LNB Classic Wednesday May 1st at 7 pm between St. John Fisher and Rochester Institute of Technology.
With four previous Pilots playing for St. John Fisher, all in attendance at Coburn Park should see an exciting game. Justin D’Amato a sophomore, left-handed pitcher from Canandaigua, was ranked fifth in the nation for wins at the end of the 2012 season with the Cardinals. The Rochester native Ben Bostick is a versatile in-fielder and outfielder has been a major asset, starting all 43 games in the 2012 season. Sean Osterman originally from Pittsford is a power hitter for the Cardinals, coming in this season as a junior. Kieran Murphy, from Fairport, also a right handed pitcher will be bringing his experience as a senior for the Cardinals. Matt Mika is also listed on the roster for St. John Fisher. The final former pilot is RIT’s Ethan Humburt, from Rose, a sophomore pitcher, who last season had a whopping 57 innings pitched. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to see former Pilots face off at their home stadium in Newark.
