Newark, NY — The Pilots will be hosting the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) All-Star game on July 24th. The Newark Pilots organization and Colburn Park have been selected to host the 2013 PGCBL All-Star Game, an honor for any organization. The game will play host to All-Stars from the East and West divisions of the league, which was founded in 2011.
The All-Star day festivities will include the PGCBL Scout Day activities and a Homerun Derby before the start of the game. Fans will enjoy the Pilots great on field entertainment, as well as some additional promotions for this special event, including live music from local band, 93 Miles To Empty!

This will be a great opportunity for the fans in Newark to really see the best players the PGCBL has to offer”, said Newark General Manager Brian Connell. “It’s an honor to host this great event that gives these players a chance to showcase their talent.”
The PGCBL is affiliated with Perfect Game USA, the largest independent scouting service in the country. With 84 players drafted over the past 3 seasons it is one of the most prestigious leagues in the nation.
